In March 2007 Moore left From First to Last to pursue a solo career in the genre of electronica/pop/alternative. Some of his solo songs can be heard on his MySpace page. He insists to friends on his MySpace page that he will call the project Sonny, not Sonny Moore or Sonny Sound. The songs are inspired by his favorite artists Aphex Twin and Bjork.
