Seven Year Existence

Seven Year Existence is a heavy metal band from central Illinois that formed in late 2004. It did not take very long for SYE's presence to spread like a virus all over the Midwest, especially in central IL.

Proof of our rapid success shows through the media. Seven Year Existence are attracting great reviews which includes coverage in AMP magazine, Pivotal Rage Webzine, Northeast In-Tune Magazine, Hails and Horns Magazine, and regular airplay on local radio such as 90.1 FM (WEFT) in Champaign, IL. Seven Year Existence will also receive television coverage that will air in over 80,000 homes in the Chicagoland area come Spring 2007 on a new heavy metal show called "The Cellar." Recently, the band was even asked to be reviewed, interviewed, and promoted through one of the largest heavy metal news sites called The Metal Den located at www.themetalden.com.

From the moment Seven Year Existence began a career as a professional heavy metal band, we were given immediate opportunities to open for National Acts such as: Iscariot (567 Records), Reflux (Prosthetic Records), Thine Eyes Bleed (The End Records), The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza (Corrosive Records), and many well-known regional bands as well. Instant opportunities like these only come to bands that play and work hard.

Other accomplishments with Seven Year Existence include being a sponsored band for Windy City Pro Wrestling. We performed for WCPW and their fans at a wrestling match for over 500 people at Cicero Stadium. Shortly after, Seven Year Existence took 2nd place at our first major Battle of the Bands competition with Bodog Music in Chicago, IL's Lakeshore Theatre on August 9, 2006. Our victory was based on crowd reaction and crowd turnout. Currently, the band is competing on MTV2 on the Rise. Seven Year Existence holds a 2nd place position among all bands in Champaign, IL. This rank is based on voting done online by SYE fans and users of MTV2.

With a successful release of our full-length album entitled "Execute-Erase," SYE hopes to infect the entire North American landscape and more. We have already begun acheiving this goal by touring the Midwest and West Coast in late winter/early spring of 2006.

As an unsigned act, Seven Year Existence have supported ourselves for years as we have all been in other bands previous to this one...

We tour with our own resources. We record with our own resources. We make music and obtain equipment with our own resources.

We do whatever it takes to keep our fans, supporters, and people that we work with content.

Seven Year Existence do all this and more without the support of ANY major label and will continue to do so until we EARN a worthy record deal.

Given that, we know that many unsigned artists claim to work hard.

But we work harder. The proof has already been given.
