Scott Wiggins Band

Driven by influences from every genre of music, the Scott Wiggins Band has added their own touch to the Texas music scence. The Scott Wiggins Band was established in 2004 by singer/songwriter Scott Wiggins, drummer John Diaz, bassist Ryan Fedako, and electric guitarist Ricky Diaz. In March of 2004 the band recorded their first demo at Cherry Ridge Studios. The four song demo led to the band recieving weekend dates at several local clubs and bars in Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Jason Farjardo joined the band in May of 2005 as lead guitarist. The next full year was full of success for the Scott Wiggins Band. In October of 2005 the band recorded their first full length album in Houston, Tx. The album consisted of 10 full length tracks all penned by Wiggins, with the exception of "Mexico", which was co-written with Farjardo. The release of the album led to an unprecedented amount of airplay on local radio stations, most notably Texas Radio 94.7 in Corpus Christi. As the radio play increased, so did the gigs. The Scott Wiggins Band has taken their live show to bars and clubs in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, College Station, and other small cities in South Texas. They have shared the stage with many notable and successful Texas artist such as, Kevin Fowler, Charlie Robison, Django Walker, Blue Edmondson, and Brandon Rhyder. In May of 2006 the Scott Wiggins Band decided to make a change in their musical direction. Austin Gilliam was asked to become the lead guitarist and join the original four members of the band. The band continues to bring their high energy shows to stages across Texas. The dream that began in 2004 is still the vision and passion that drives the music of the Scott Wiggins Band
