About Reggie Young
Bio
Reggie Young, the brainchild behind Gospel Park, has produced to date by far, a masterpiece. Why is his name familiar to you? Well, maybe you’ve heard his name mentioned throughout the music industry as one of the “craziest” bass players in the world working with Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, James Hall, Kelly Price, Eric McDaniel and more.
Reggie’s New Album
“The Grounds We Play On” is a journey of life-related experiences, Reggie explains, “that dig deep into my personal life while trying to live right”. Now, Reggie has woven gospel with jazz and a 40’s & 50’s flair. These songs are tapping into the areas of people’s lives that are not easy to face.
“Prayer Life” brings you into a personal place to meet God face to face with submission. “Devotion” is taking praise and worship to today’s generation. “Today is Your Day” brings out the truth about life’s journey for anyone who faces bills, high gas prices, out-of-control mortgages and/or real depression. You gotta hear that one. Then of course there’s “Fairytales”, the question of can dreams come true. After these blow you away, lend your ears to “Love As One”, the church just isn’t ready for this one. My favorite line in this song is “when you leave from church still in defeat”. Believe it or not this song’s about faith. Next, “Swing Praise” is HUGE!!! Andraé Crouch’s remake “Give It All Back to Me” is powerful and fun. But wait…the “Awesome God” remake…WOW!
