Bio
Playground Etiquette is a rock band, based out of Washington, DC, whose focus is to fuse together different styles of music and release a solid, thick, and tight sound. Comprised of four members, Johnny Churchwell on the drums, Athena Hiotis on the mic and keys, Andrew Glaros on the guitar, and Andrew Mason on the bass, PE hopes to burst through the local scene with their killer beats and riffs. Their influences range anywhere from metal to prog rock and they have been described as the heavy, grungy offspring of Alice in Chains and Evanescence. Founded by leading lady, Athena, Playground Etiquette's goal was always to come together and have people enjoy the music and themselves. This goal is now becoming a reality.
Although new to the entertainment industry, PE has been building fan bases in Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and DC at an exponential rate and hasn't failed to impress those that have come to support them at their shows.
Playground Etiquette guarantees to bring nothing but a crowd, a sound, and head banging pulse wherever they play.
