Los Angeles based band PLAYER is best recognized in the music business for their international #1 hit in 1978 "BABY COME BACK", followed by 5 top 40 hits. They toured with music greats Heart, Eric Clapton, Kenny Loggins, Boz Scaggs, Gino Vanelli, Little River Band, to name a few. Since then, "BABY COME BACK" has appeared in numerous movies, as well as TV shows and commercials. What makes the come back of PLAYER special is that they are still fronted by their original lead singer Peter Beckett and original bass player Ronn Moss. While the band took a hiatus in the 80's with Peter writing songs for movies, TV and other recording artists, and Ronn Moss becoming a soap star for 'The Bold and the Beautiful', they still remained friends and music partners through the years.



What is most unique about PLAYER's sound is that Peter Beckett's vocals are more defined than ever and he is still writing incredible songs for the band and his own solo project, 'The Limey Cowboys'. Ironically, his latest creation is called "BABY DON'T COME BACK", soon to be released.
