Hello there, my name is Patrick Rothfuss, I'm a fantasy author from central Wisconsin. My first book, The Name of the Wind, has just been released here in the US. It's getting good reviews, and has just made it onto Amazon's Preferred Seven list for the month of March.
Over the years, I've done readings, conference panels, facilitated group discussion, and run writing workshops. Once, I was even keynote at a high-school commencement.
If you'd like to have me come out for a reading, signing, workshop or whatever in your town. Go head and start up a demand. If you get a few people to join up, there's a good chance I can sweet-talk my PR people into getting me out to wherever you are.
How does that sound? Pretty good? Yeah, I think so too.
