Northern Towns

Crawling from condemned corners, rainy ruins and dead end lives come the subdued sounds of refusal and reminiscence. Northern English export Daniel Sant formed NORTHERN TOWNS through the sunny lens of San Diego, CA, paying homage to a life in which the setting has been dramatically altered but the stories are never forgotten. With his ears still ringing from the shadows of OVER MY DEAD BODY, Sant recruited SD stalwarts Tommy Garcia, Brandon Hays (PLEASE MR GRAVEDIGGER) and Mark Smith (SWINDLE) adding Gabe Cross (THE MUSLIMS) to flesh out the line-up. Musically stylized by British mod-polish and shambolic skinhead anthems and baptized by the violence and high decibel destruction of punk and hardcore, NORTHERN TOWNS is a fitting memoir, a futuristic glimpse into an uncharted past.
