Neil was my husband’s idol since we were in our teens…he TRIED so hard to sing like Neil! We always wanted to see him in concert but never were able to. My husband since passed away and now I want to see Neil in concert more than ever! I pray he'll come soon to the East Coast/New England/New York!!!!

I have loved Neil since I was a kid. I first saw him at madison square garden in 1986 and was 10 rows from the stage. it was the best concert I ever went to. I just watched his Hot August Nights NYC concert and he looks better than ever and sang like he did when I saw him 1986. Neil is a performer who only gets better with age.

I went to my first Neil Diamond concert in Vienna, Austria in 1977. I have been a "believer" ever since. Neil Diamond is the best singer, everytime he has a concert it is better than the one before. I went to his concert in Cleveland, OH just after 9-11. When he sang "America" and the american flag came down behind him I thought I couldn't love him more. I can't wait until he comes to Virginia or DC. I would however like to invite Mr. Diamond to take my sister up on her invitation to visit my hometown of Punxsutawney, PA and experience Groundhog Day first hand. I plan and look forward to going to more of his concerts.

I have been to quite a few Neil Diamond concerts. I love him SO much! The last concert I went to, I had floor seats front and center the stage with my seat being an aisle seat. It was fabulous!!!!!!! I am continually scanning for his next concert in the United States, so I can go to another one. Once, I met the members of his band in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I got King's autograph and talked with him. I never met Neil Diamond though, he never came down to join the band that night for dinner. They said he was in his room eating. He is the all time best singer! He makes movies more enjoyable with his songs, and even being in them. Saving Silverman and Fever Pitch are just a couple.. Sometimes I just want to hear "Sweet Caroline" in the movie Fever Pitch, and everybody in the stands at The Boston Red Sox game is singing along and clappping. He has touched so many lives. I have been so fortunate to have seen some of his concerts, and look forward to his next one that I plan to go to. Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Bio
Neil Diamond (born January 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter and occasional actor.

From the 1960s to the 1980s, Diamond was one of the more successful pop music performers, scoring a number of hits in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. As critic William Ruhlmann writes, "as of 2001, he claimed worldwide record sales of 115 million copies, and as of 2002 he was ranked third, behind only Elton John and Barbra Streisand, on the list of the most successful adult contemporary artists in the history of the Billboard chart." As of May 2005 he had sold 120 million records worldwide, including 48 million records in the U.S.

Though his record sales declined somewhat after the 1980s, Diamond continues to tour successfully, and maintains a very loyal following. Diamond's songs have been recorded by a vast array of performers from many different musical genres.

Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984, and then in 2000 was given its Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award. He has been eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1989, but has thus far been ignored.
