Myxx’s Biography

Evonne Hunnicutt: Born: October 21, 1987 Evonne and her sister Elizabeth used to play in the back yard and sing different songs while they were swinging or playing together, they were only 4 and 5 years old. They have sung around the house all their lives and music has always been a big part of this family’s life.

Their father (Troy Hunnicutt) would tell them stories of his father who played lead guitar and of his Aunt Marie who sang, and of how they played and sang in night clubs in Texas. That they come from a talented background of singers, artists and musicians, so it is naturally in their genes to possess these God given talents (of which they do posses and also are implementing them).

Evonne is an outgoing person she is also a clothes designer; she is also an artist that is good with pencil, ink, and pastel drawings. She has a flair for spontaneity in her creative works and her personality exudes that potential in almost everything that she does, she can sew and cook.

Evonne raps with a twist of speed and finesse; she has the ability to place her raps at strategic points in her music that makes for a perfect blend and balance. She loves family, animals, art, music, nature, almost all kinds of fruit and she has a sweet tooth that she had to tame. She loves baby animals.

Favorite Artists: B5, Destiny’s Child, Aaliyah, Rhianna, Ludacris, Linkin Park, etc. Some Old School like Patrice Rushen, Loose Ends, Chic, Gap Band, etc.

Elizabeth Hunnicutt: Born: August 1, 1989 Elizabeth and her sister Evonne used to play in the back yard and sing different songs while they were swinging or playing together, they were only 4 and 5 years old. Elizabeth is a quiet person; she is also an artist that is good with pencil, and ink drawings, she can sew and cook. She loves to spend time with family and in her spare time she writes songs and sings to herself.

Elizabeth sings with power and passion; she has the ability to riff and can make her voice do almost anything, she is still growing in her artistic abilities and has come into her own. She loves family, animals, art, music, nature, almost all kinds of fruit. Elizabeth also loves baby animals.

How they became Myxx:

In November of 2002 Evonne and Elizabeth came to visit family when a Producer (Andrew Lane) noticed how beautiful they were and commented, if they could sing or dance, man they would be a formidable group, to which their mother (Deborah Hunnicutt) and father (Troy Hunnicutt) replied “they sing and dance”. And from that the group was born.

Their Accomplishments:

2005 Myxx appeared on ABC’s State Lake Building stage to perform their rendition of Jingle Bells, theirs is called “Jingle Jam”. It is a hip, savvy, and up to date sound that seems to grab the hearers’ attention.

2005 Casual Cal’s “Universoul Circus” Myxx performed over 20 engagements with the circus, they were well received.

2004 Myxx opened up for B5 and Chris Brown, they were asked back on stage amidst a crowd of a predominantly female audience to sign autographs and to do an encore.

2003 Myxx performed numerous High School tours throughout the “Dirty South” with B5 to perfect their stage performance; Myxx was well received by both boys and girls, because of their friendly demeanor and down to earth presence.
