Jazz vocalist Melissa Morgan's debut recording on Telarc Records captures an organic, old-school sensibility of classic singers like Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Nancy Wilson and reintroduces it to an entirely new generation of listeners. Her concerts have taken her across the country and she has worked with some of today’s brightest young players including pianist Gerald Clayton, guitarist Randy Napoleon, bassist Joe Sanders, drummer Kevin Kanner and trumpeter Christian Scott.
