Mat Kearney has arrived. We first saw him on VH1's Artists You Oughta Know, in 2006. Since then, he has amassed a slew of accolades, radio hits, and has toured with rock music's best and brightest including Sheryl Crow and John Mayer. The Oregon native attended Cal State Chico where he played soccer and discovered his passion for the guitar. Kearney soon moved to Nashville and recorded his major-label debut, Nothing Left To Lose, in 2006. The title track earned Kearney a Gold certification and a BMI award. Several songs from the album were featured on hit TV shows including Grey's Anatomy and NCIS and he toured extensively to promote the effort that has sold nearly a half-million albums.

In 2007, Kearney headlined VH1's You Oughta Know Tour. He released City of Black & White, in 2009 which featured the hit single "Closer to Love" and he went on tour with rock band, Keane, to promote the disc. Kearney will release his next album, Young Love, in August, 2011. The disc's first single, "Hey Mama", is racing up the Adult Contemporary charts.
