One of South Florida’s most captivating performers, Marty grew up listening to various styles of music ranging from Gospel to Rock. As a teenager she sang with church choirs, later joining the Anointed Voices of South Florida. Since then she has performed with numerous bands and branched out from Gospel to Funk, Jazz, Soul and R&B. She has toured with several groups including local Latin Bands, Clouds and Afro-Funk band Khadir, which was voted best local band by New Times in 1999.

Combining sex appeal and charm, Marty’s sultry low tones and heart stopping high notes were prevalent in recordings, concerts and showcases with such notable artists as: The Commodores, Jose Feliciano, Paulina Rubio, Bonnie Tyler and Clouds as well as local Jazz great Bobby Ramirez and Ritmo Caliente Del Caribe.

Marty has performed at S.O.B’s (SoHo, NY), Stephen Talk House (Long Island, NY), New Orleans Annual Jazz Festival, Tipitina’s (New Orleans, LA), Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino (Las Vegas, NV.), Calle Ocho Festival (Miami, Fl.), Vizcaya Museum & Gardens (Miami, Fl.), the Dave & Mary JCC Cultural Arts Center (Miami, Fl.), Mar-a-Lago (Donald Trump’s mansion (West Palm Beach, Fl.) and has recorded a Christmas CD for Universal Records which received air play on local radio stations Love 94 and Salsa 98.

Her influences include Annie Lenox, Chaka Khan, Lisa Stansfield as well as Faith Evans and Oleta Adams. When Marty gets up on stage, she captivates her audience from start to finish. Her talents as a singer and songwriter combined with a soulful warmth and approachable attitude wins over her audience and will have you asking for more….
