Lindsay

Lindsay is an emotionally driven singer songwriter from Boston Massachusetts. She is known for her emotional high-energy stage performances and innovative harmonies. Her smooth vocal qualities are often thought to be enhanced by computer effects. Often compared to singers like Rhianna and Keisha Kole, she is set apart with her insightful lyrics written from her own experiences of love and pain through songs that are comical, heartfelt and even sarcastic at times. It is hard to take your attention from her commanding stage presence. In her earlier years she began studying the piano at age 10 playing classical songs from composers such as Kabalevsky and Bach. She then studied voice, jazz, and acting at the Franklin Peforming Arts Center in Franklin Ma. Although she enjoyed the harmonies and rhythms of classical music, she began to compose songs improvising on her own. She began to teach herself songs she enjoyed on the guitar and piano such as, "Love song" by the Cure and later, "Fire door", "Both hands", "winter" and others written by Ani Difranco and Tori Amos. She soon crafted her own style inspired by music and vocalists ranging from Mariah Carey, Tori Amos, Ani Difranco, and Aaliyah to Led ZZepplin, The beastie boys, Tribe Called Quest, 2pac and many others. Working on her own solo projects as well as collaborations with other artists she began to find direction in her music recording in her own home studio writing and producing. Collaboration efforts with artists and producers include Kiki Mendez and Depina Aka Diction of Platinum Studios, Arystyles music, Remedy beats, and Celso Barros.
