He has won .... 2010 Tennessee Country Music Association Male Entertainer of the year... 2010 Tennessee Male Vocalist of the Year... 2011 North American Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the year and Male entertainer of the year... 2011 Mississippi Country Gospel Music Association Male Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Male songwriter and best new album of the year.... 2012 North American COuntry Music Association Songwriter of the year for his song "Set em up boys" and Co writer of the year for "Boys of Yesterday". His debut CD called "Never No More" is now available on itunes, cdbaby Amazon and more. The 10 song CD has 9 songs penned by Leon Thomas and 1 song written by Katie Cox. Leon wrote the music to all of the songs on his debut CD. Leon's music also has radio play on stations in East Tennessee. Leon is now writing songs for his next album. "Leon has a gift for reading lyrics and putting the right music to those lyrics" He is now working with other songwriters around the country who are asking him to put music to their lyrics. One song "Don't walk away" penned by Tammy Beal and music by Leon Thomas is "Sure to be a big hit" says Leon. That song will be part of Leon's second CD set to be finished early 2013.
