Laws is gonna get a lot of comparisons to another MC that starts with the letter L: Lupe Fiasco. Not only does Laws's voice sound eerily similar to the F&Fer, but the opening tracks to both of their albums both have a similar tempo (check Laws's "Speak Your Mind," then listen to Lupe's "Real"). Fortunately for Laws, that's where the similarity ends. He ain't kick pushing on this one. Although he resides in Florida, don't expect him to spit coke 'n' booty tales tales like Rick Ross or Trick Daddy, this dude was bred with a tongue like the best anti-bling backpack and just a dash of A Tribe Called Quest. Funny Pages is what the title implies, and it's not always wrong to take this rap shit slightly less seriously.
