More details about KINGDRAGON
Bio
After several calls and fan persistence for a live performance, Kingdragon finally decided to appear live for the first time in front of the Athenian audience in November 2006 supporting the distinguished GOTTHARD. It was the best that could happen for Kingdragon. They performed all their unreleased material plus a well known Journey cover (!) in front of an audience unfamiliar with the band! Kingdragon received excellent reports on that gig both from GREEK MAGAZINES as well as WEBZINES. The story has just begun ... Unfortunately, just before November's gig ZARKOS M. decided (due to personal reasons) not to follow the band in any live appearance and to participate only in the studio production. Thus, following that gig BYRON TSOURAPIS (bass) completed the band's line-up. The spark for the creation of Kingdragon's first promo CD titled “FIRE IN THE SKY” was lit by their musical explorations along with the imperative need for something original.
The Promo CD contains 4 songs and it's full of powerful melodies accompanied by driving riffs both on guitars and keys. The main goal for Kingdragon is to enjoy recording, playing and listening to the music they fancy and simultaneously transferring the fun and the enjoyment to the listener either at home or at live performances ... By the completion of the promo pack KASKABAS B. decided to part ways with the band due to the upcoming "demanding" programme of KINGDRAGON! In spite of the fact, he remains a very good friend.. In order to complete the band's line-up, a new member is added. The new drummer of KINGDRAGON is KARACHALIOS JOHN, an old friend and associate of ASPIOTIS for at least 15 years.. (ex-STEELDONE/SPITFIRE).
