Bio
In the spring of 2001, this three piece sound machine was given an opportunity to introduce their demo to a panel of record execs in Atlanta GA. The demo was received well by Attack Records. Soon after, producer Mark S. Berry President and CEO of Attack Records had established an agreement to produce the band. From this major collaboration things started moving for these guys! In 2003, JOSHUA’S WHISPER’S debut CD “Tempted” was released. It received a great amount of attention from fans and industry leaders everywhere. Due to the writing of the band and production and services of Mark S. Berry, JOSHUA’S WHISPER started receiving deals with MTV and DVD compilations. With their CD “Tempted” being sold through retailers world wide, these guys kept their focus on writing new material.
In the summer of 2005, the band decided after mutual agreement with Jeff McDonald to part ways. It was time for a change, and what a better change than to hire not only a drummer, but another guitar player as well. From this decision, rhythm guitarist Aaron Tomlinson and percussionist David Zimmerman were hired into the band. The three- piece sound machine they once were had now become a force to be reckoned with! In November of 2005, JOSHUA’S WHISPER signed with Top Shelf Records and the band was back in the studio recording their first full- length album with producer Mark S. Berry. Since then, the band has just shot their first video for the single “Drunk” and fans await the April 2006 release of JOSHUA’S WHISPER’S “Drunk” distributed by Universal .
From a whisper to a ROAR, this band is definitely here to stay!
