You, all of you, whoever you are, really need to see this guy. Using only his voice, the subtlest hint of beatboxing, a loop pedal and occasional guitar, he weaves magical, mystical, textured sounds which are both sweet and haunting. His voice is soulful, crooning even, but without ever sounding anodyne or over-polished. And his arrangements are the thing which mark him out for me. Layers of vocal, carefully arranged to ramp up the tension, subtly and sensitively. Mesmerising. And a top bloke, to boot.
