Bring Jak Locke to Nashua!
Bio
Jak Locke is a songwriter and performer based in and native to New Orleans, LA. Aside from music, he is an aspiring author, filmmaker, and indie game developer.

Jak Locke's main live project is The Jak Locke Rock Show with a three piece rock band backing him up, which has been described as "the most entertaining and energetic set from a live band I've ever seen" (Euphony Zine), "an unapologetically original performance" (gulfcoastbands.com) and "more eclectic than switching radio stations constantly" (Wizerk.com). He has self-recorded nearly twenty albums worth of material since 1999, and over 9 hours of free streaming audio is available from http://www.jaklocke.com/wax.htm with more being added every couple of months.

Locke self-produces his music videos as well as creates various short subject films. Currently there are about 25 videos available to view at http://www.jaklocke.com/film.htm as well as http://www.youtube.com/jaklockeofficial.

He also fronts his metal act "Dead Locke" and the violent grindcore spectacle "Banjo", co-fronts the 1950's/early 1960's trio "The NOLA Treblemakers", is the sole instrumentalist of Philadelphia-based filthy parody groups "Dirty Diamond" and "Adadictomy", and has been brought in to fill out bands such as "Atomic Pilot" (blues), "Apathy Ensues" (metal), and "Sick Like Sinatra" (dance & theater) as a hired gun on various instruments and in various capacities. Rarely, if the stars align properly, he'll do acoustic sets too. He has performed nearly 500 shows in ten different states across the coast and as far north as Iowa.

Locke has written and self-published a satirical political novella titled "Frog Dell's Junkyard" with the first 25 chapters available for reading at http://jack.worlord.com/books/frogdellsjunkyard.htm, as well as numerous short stories and vignettes available in their entirety at http://www.jaklocke.com/codex.htm.

Locke's only released indie game so far is "Black Lodge 2600", an Atari-styled game based on the last scenes from the Twin Peaks series. You can download it for PC or Mac from http://www.jaklocke.com/blacklodge2600/. Others are in [admittedly slow] progress.
