Meg Myers, the singer/guitarist of Instead Of Hearts was born in Nashville Tennessee, on October 6 1986. She began composing on bass, guitar/vocals and piano at age 12, with her older brother, Johnny, and formed the band Feeling Numb, a grunge rock band. After leaving early 2005, she began Instead of Hearts, an alternative rock project. Growing up mainly on the East coast, Meg Myers headed West for LA in 2006.
