More details about IGM
Bio
The Industrial part of IGM features Jon Simpson on lead vocals, Heath Joyce on lead guitar, playing their heavy form of rock with keyboards & various samples to make up the industrial part of this band. The Ghetto of IGM features Heath Joyce on lead vocals, Jon Simpson on guitar, & various females on backup vocals. A more aggresive approach to hip hop including heavier guitar riffs & vocals than any other urban music. At the same time producing the melodies & hooks that make it an undeniable appeal to everyone. The Metal of IGM is of course felt in most aspects of the band in some form. However, on a few select tracks it is definately felt the hardest. Finishing off the lineup live are Michele Achelpohl on bass, Jay Cusick on drums & Shawn Huddleston running the programming, lights & smoke on stage. Even with these 3 elements defining the basic formula for the band, the group is not limited to just these areas. A track like "The Last Time" co-written with drummer Paul Crosby of Saliva & other tracks like "Open" (remix) featured on the documentary dvd /100 Years of Flight - 17 Days of Glory/ showcase IGM's pure rock n roll hit ability. IGM has also worked with Josh Brown, formerly of the band Full Devil Jacket & currently with Day of Fire. Josh sang on an as yet unreleased IGM track called "Deflower". IGM wrote songs for Shinedowns first album, including the title track "Leave A Whisper". IGM's music has also been featured in adult films like "Fuck Rock & Ride" starring: Taylor Rain, Inari Vachs, Tanya James, Memphis Riegns (a.k.a. Heath Joyce) & snowboarding legend Shawn Farmer. IGM was also asked to write the title track to the feature which will be released as a video on IGM's upcoming dvd "The Invincible (Phase 2)".
