America’s Best Dance Crew Season 6 showcased some of the best hip-hop/pop dance crews in the US, including one of the most unique crews to date, the ICONic Boyz. The crew wowed the judges from the start with unexpected talent coming from a group with the youngest member clocking in at 10 years old. Though the boys came in second in the overall competition, they have added a few new members and continue to perform at home in New Jersey and all across the country.
This “boy band of dance” was founded in 2006 in Englishtown, NJ. Their creative director, GEO Hubela, is also responsible for ABDC: Season 1’s ICONic Dance Crew. As manager of the boys, GEO functions as their choreographer and mentor, supporting the team while landing them gigs like their most recent tour with NRG Dance Project. He also helped with the release of their “Be ICONic” Instructional DVD for fans who want to learn some of their signature moves. The group, 15 boyz altogether, is kept busy with promoting their Vlado footwear and ICONic Boyz clothing line.
When they’re not rehearsing at their home base, the ICON Dance Complex, they’re visiting their screaming fans across the country. Want the ICONic boys to come to your hometown? Demand them and let them know where their biggest fans are.
