Bio
This born and bred Philadelphian was introduced to music at the early age of 5. He comes from a family full of musicians and singers. Growing up in the church laid the groundwork for this soul artist, enabling him to feel at home with the mic and the piano.
In 2001, after enlisting into the Air Force, Homemadesoul began to explore his desire to write and produce. Over the period of 6 years, he worked hard on his craft as a musician/singer, and this hard work resulted in the release of his first LP entitled, “Homemadesoul VOL. 1.”
His vocal ability has opened doors for him to sing the national anthem at the New Jersey Nets home game on Oct. 8, 2007, and he has opened for national recording artist such as, The Original Bluenotes, The Ying Yang Twins, and Bradford Marsalis. He has performed all over the U.S. and overseas to include Japan, Oman, Iraq, and Kuwait. In addition, his production has enabled him to be asked for by many independent artists to include 3TEN, Mixture, gospel recording artist Scripture, the UK’s DNYCE. He has also created recordings for TM Century and their radio broadcast affiliates. In Oct 2006 Homemadesoul appeared on the independent movie, “Steel Here” soundtrack with his ballad, “It’s So Beautiful.” The soundtrack included national recording artist Court Dog, and Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs in Harmony.
Recently, Homemadesoul just released his second project entitled “Homemadesoul Vol. 2: LOVE”. He is currently in Japan performing, and working on his next project tentatively titled “Keepin It Homemade”. You can always expect Homemadesoul to keep it homemade!!!!
