Gary Schutt has basically been a one man solo artist since he was really young. Acquiring a cheap 4-track recorder and a slew of original tunes, he started recording & producing at age 15. Writing, arranging and performing all the parts himself in his parents basement.
Gary graduated and taught at the prestigious Berklee College Of Music and continued writing, recording, producing and performing there.
After college, Gary moved to L.A. to team up with former Yngwie Malmsteen vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (also formerly with Journey). Gary toured the world as Jeff's bass player from 2001-2008.
Gary is currently in Tampa, Florida and continues writing and recording in 2010. Working on his 8th studio album and touring with his cover band, Category Three which doubles as the Gary Schutt Band. Along with that Gary is a Randy Rhoads clone in the Ozzy Osborne tribute band Bark At The Moon.
