You guys should totally do something in the tiny, tiny state of Delaware. Maybe for the Delaware State Fair? We had Lynard Skynard the other year, so nothing's too big or small for us! And there's always the Bob Carpenter center at the University of Delaware!

Hey Guys. I had seen you when you did one of your tours in 2002 in Detroit. Since then I have been hoping you would come back. YOU DID! .... but it snowed so bad that I wouldnt have been able to make it there even if I left four hours earlier. Therefore, I propose that you come back and make it something truly memorable! I hope you do all come back, I would love to see you all in person again. James~

Hip enough for hipsters but nerdy enough for nerds, Freezepop are here to rokk you with infectious electropop songs that you won't be able to get out of your head. Their song “Less Talk More Rokk” appears in the new PS2 game, Guitar Hero II, and is featured on their new single, along with ”Get Ready 2 Rokk” (which appeared in the original Guitar Hero). After years of self-releasing their CDs, Freezepop are excited to be partnering with Cordless Recordings, part of Warner Music group, for the release of their third full-length album later this spring.

Band members Liz Enthusiasm (vocalist/fashion plate), the Duke of Pannekoeken (programmer extraordinaire), and The Other Sean T. Drinkwater (synths/vocoder/wacky hijinks) are based in Boston and have been playing together since 1999. Freezepop have released two full-length CDs, Freezepop Forever in 2000 and Fancy Ultra•Fresh in 2004, as well as the Fashion Impression Function and Hi-Five My Remix EPs, and several 12” remix records. They have toured throughout North America and Europe, playing with acts like Cibo Matto, Momus, Apoptygma Berzerk, and Add N to (X).

Utilizing the internet as a powerful medium to find new fans and stay in touch with their ever-growing fanbase, Freezepop have achieved nearly two million plays on myspace.com and sell almost as much music via iTunes as through actual CDs. While Freezepop have done well on college radio, charting in the CMJ Top 50, they have also welcomed licensing opportunities as an alternate means of getting their music heard. They have songs in six videogames (including the most recent titles DDR Ultramix3 and the Guitar Hero series), as well as a random assortment of indie films, extreme sports DVD releases, and websites.

A typical day in the life of a Freezepop song: Liz wakes up at the crack of dawn and begins brewing a fresh pot of lyrics, sometimes innocent, sometimes less-than-innocent, and sometimes in another language and making very little sense. Meanwhile, the Duke drops the blippy drums off at school and swings by the cleaners to get the synthpads chorused up for the dinner party. later in the day, the Other Sean is out walking the vocoder and stops by the delicatessen for a fat bass sandwich. Later that evening after a long day, the Duke tucks the song into bed and goes to read the latest issue of Scientific American.
