Bio
Fortress of Attitude is a theatrical rock band, combining the sounds of classic, indie, and punk rock. With over-the-top costumes and emphasis on engaging the audience, FoA's live show has frequently been compared to bands like Gwar, Kiss, and the Aquabats. But while the content and performance of the songs are comedic, the emphasis of the song writing is on catchy, hard rocking tunes that you can sing along and dance to, even if you have no idea what they are about.
Over the years, members of Fortress of Attitude have had the opportunity to open for and share festival slots with a host of diverse bands, including Ween, The Rapture, Gwar, Drums and Tuba, The Make Up, Aesop Rock, World Inferno/Friendship Society, Wolfeyes, Biz Mark E and more. This past summer, FoA successfully toured much of the country, playing the Knitting Factory in both New York and LA, VZD's in Oklahoma City, and Churchill's in Miami, among others.
