Bio
FDAMUSIC.COM & OVERGRIND RECORDS.COM – Built from the streets to the sky is a team of Middle Eastern and U.S. based team that create music for the hip-hop and rap, for the foreign and local, for YOU.

F.D.A of FDAMUSIC-OverGrind Records F.D.A (Fadi Abouabsi), born in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia in 1986, lived in Seyda, Lebanon, where the hardened experiences of his childhood on these Middle Eastern streets would come to influence his outlook on music. In 1996, he came to America, building a multi-culture platform that influenced his need to make change, and need to create, in west Houston, under the tutelage of legends like Z-Ro, SPM, DJ Screw and others. F.D.A started writing lyrics in a notebook, mixing Arabic with English, and his success in recording began in 2005, when he contributed to an underground release of the mix tape entitled, I need a dutchmaster, hosted by DJ Disaster. In 2006, he stepped back from the mic and began an interest in music engineering. In 2007 he released a song called “Shoot em’ up”- ft. E-rock (from the original 5thward boyz) & Agonylife (of Agonylife Muzik).

B-Luce of FDAMUSIC-OverGrind Records Partnering with F.D.A in Cadillac Music is B-Luce (Branden L. Luce). Born in Laredo in 1987, B-Luce moved to Houston at the age of 4 and immediately made himself known on the West/Southwest side. Influenced by local artists like The 5th Ward Boyz, UGK, The Ghetto Boys, and Agonylife, while local DJ’s, like the late, great DJ Screw, OG Ron C, and Michael 5000 Watts, also left their mark. At14, B-Luce started to pursue music with LD(Lenny Davis), held onto bigger hopes. The next year, B-Luce broke out to work with artists like Papa Smoke, the Home Team G’s (Allow,Dre & Jay), Dun Dotta, Mason (from the Mason Kights), and Lil’ C, to name a few. From 16 to 18, B-Luce, deterred by other’s inability to keep pace, pursued music with an on-again-off-again status before collaborating with fellow artist, F.D.A, to pursue music full-time at 19. FDAMUSIC-OverGrind Records

2009 proved a prodigious year, as F.D.A and B-Luce hit the studio, and released 3 mix tapes (Certified Pressure, Mission 4 Commission, and Get it How u Live It) in 6 months dropping serious sound in a short period of time under the label BELOW FREEZIN’ ENT. In late 2009 B-Luce and F.D.A split and started FDAMUSIC-OverGrind Records. In August 2009, they opened 8909 Studios and focused on Cadillac Music, which features Agonylife, Marka and Jak Da Ripa, including producers MIDIMarc, Ear 2 Tha Beat, Royal Audio Tunes, Dro Beatz and E-rock (Rockhouse beats). So far, 2010 has seen the duo F.D.A and B- Luce bring you another album-on-fire, with the release Cadillac Music- ft. Agonylife, Marka and Jak Da Ripa, including producers MIDIMarc, Ear 2 Tha Beat, Royal Audio Tunes, Dro Beatz and E-rock (Rockhouse beats). But, so much is in store from these hit-makin’, trunk-shakin’ artists, blowin’ up the streets of Houston,TX. They’re relentless in the studio and on the pad, working on new mixtapes titled, “No Time to Waste”, “The Road to Success”, and Certified Pressure 2”. They’re the next beat in your radio, the next rhyme in your head, so look out for more.
