Bio
Armed with a loyal, all-age, grassroots following, the piano fronted rock band Dropping Daylight recently released their debut album Brace Yourself. Hailing from Minneapolis, selections from their debut EP Back To Nowhere have appeared on MTV’s The Real World, and the band has performed with Simple Plan, Yellowcard and Midwest dates of the 2004 Vans Warped Tour. The band then released their second EP, Take A Photograph, which garnered them a "You Hear It First" spotlight on MTV. Last Fall Dropping Daylight was part of the Suburban Curse Tour with Lucky Boys Confusion and toured with the likes of Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, and Jason Mraz. Most recently they toured cities across the U.S. with the Plain White T’s and Unwritten Law. Their first full length album Brace Yourself was produced by David Bendeth (Hawthorne Heights, Breaking Benjamin) and was released June 13 on Octone Records (Maroon 5). Their non-stop touring schedule has seen them recently touring with Phantom Planet, Flyleaf, this summer’s Vans Warped Tour and Breaking Benjamin.
