Dizzee Rascal

With three gold albums, one platinum, five #1 singles, and extremely popular tour dates, Dizzee Rascal is easily one of the top rappers in the UK. While Dizzee's style is diverse, he is best known as the mainstream pioneer of grime in the UK in the early 2000s. Dizzee Rascal's music has come into conflict with the British government on a few occasions, but his lyrics share the same urban spirit present in rap and hip hop around the world. While his debut album changed the face of UK hip hop, his latest has become the most popular and successful, prompting a few high profile tour dates in 2011.

Dylan Mills' was by no means an upstanding youth, but the one thing that kept him grounded was his interest in music and making tracks on the computer. He scored his first hit in 2003 with the single "I Luv U", which eventually appeared on his critically acclaimed debut album, Boy in da Corner. The album was well received by music reviewers and, at 19, Dizzee Rascal became the youngest person to win the Mercury Prize for Best Album. Even after numerous tour dates in promotion of the album, Dizzee's 2004 record, Showtime, performed substantially better, garnering praise from both US and UK fans.

Dizzee Rascal's 2009 album, Tongue N' Cheek, represents the artist's greatest effort to date. With production from DJ Tiesto, Cage, and Calvin Harris, the album features the hit singles "Bonkers", "Dance wiv Me", "Dirtee Disco", and "Holiday." While Dizzee hasn't released an album since 2009, he has seven exciting tour dates in 2011, including appearances at Ibiza Rocks on July 30 and the V Festival on August 20 and 21.
