Dimitri McDowell is a singer/Songwriter/ producer and poet born in Jamaica Queens N.Y, Where he began doing music at an early stage in life. One of his biggest inspirations is his family which includes his two sisters, as well as his mother and father whom he still looks to for motivation today. Dimitri has performed in the legendary Apollo Theater located in Harlem N.Y. and in a poetry slam in the Historic Madison Square Garden. He has also performed in a distinguish event called “Gospelfest” sponsored in part by McDonalds.

His accolades speak for themselves. Dimitri is very versatile and is able to adapt to any type of genre whether it’s Pop, R&B, or Gospel. His sound and creativity allows him to stay authentic and enjoy commercial success as well. Dimitri has a YouTube channel with tremendous views with materials such as original songs that were written, produced and performed by him. He also has cover songs in which he displays his talents and allows his fan’s to see him perform today’s popular music.

Dimitri McDowell is all about branding himself as one of the elite R&B singer/ song writers of our generation. His goals are to gain mainstream success as an artist as well as work with established artist. Song writing for him is a means to share his gift with other artist and getting his ingenuity out there.
