Bio
Before the current "Vampire Craze" took hold with TRUE BLOOD, TWILIGHT, and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, the DEATH WALKS THE STREETS saga had been planting it's seeds within the horror world.

Based on a screenplay written in 2004 by James Zahn and Ben Brezinski, DWTS was tapped to be "the next big thing." Nominated for a SPIKE TV SCREAM AWARD for "Most Anticipated Film" in 2006 and featured in numerous publications including BUFFY/MAGAZINE, THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE, INDIEWIRE, and more the cross-genre hook of VAMPIRES. DEMONS. ZOMBIES. WEREWOLVES. THE MOB. had genre fans salivating.

After the production of the film hit some all-to-common snags and "development hell", DWTS eventually found it's home at FANGORIA ENTERTAINMENT - the leaders in horror since 1979.

Published under the FANGORIA GRAPHIX banner, the DEATH WALKS THE STREETS saga began unfolding in 2008 as a comic book prequel to that original screenplay.

Now in 2009 the tale continues with new issues on the way, offering mature readers a supernatural alternative to tales that lack "bite."

DEATH WALKS THE STREETS is a genre-bending tale of good and evil that combines horror, action, and crime drama set in the fictional City of New Marshall.

MICHAEL LABOU. DANIELLE DANTE, and MALCOLM MCDERMOT are three friends in an unconventional line of work. Officially, they work in separate positions for IBVM Union Local 666, one of the most powerful labor Unions in New Marshall and the world. Unofficially, the trio has become the go-to crew for odd-jobs required by "The Organization", an international crime syndicate with deep ties to the City of New Marshall. They're good people that are good at their jobs, but can't stand the people that they're working for. Unfortunately, sometimes an "out" isn't exactly easy.

The supernatural world is commonplace in New Marshall, but often the legions of vampires, demons, zombies, werewolves, and other ghastly creatures are hardly a concern - nor their greatest foes. Everyone is on "the take", and few can be trusted. The ties that bind loyalty are tested on a daily basis, and sometimes people just simply disappear. For some, Death would be too easy.

DEATH WALKS THE STREETS is a BIG new world of horrific adventure, filled with colorful characters and fantastic creatures, currently unfolding in the new series of comic books and graphic Novels from FANGORIA. Start reading today, and get in on the action.
