If there's one thing the Jaffray, BC born singer/songwriter has proven in his career, it's that he's not afraid to pull up stakes and risk everything to chase down his dreams. It's fair to say that ethic is a good part of the inspiration behind the title to his new record, ‘Trail In Life’, released August 2010, the follow up to his 2009 self-titled debut, and his first on Open Road Recordings. Brody's first single ‘Brothers' hit the top 10 in Canada, garnering multiple CCMA nominations in 2009, and taking home the award for Single of the Year. Both follow up singles, ’Dirt Roads Scholar’ and ‘Undone’, went on to break the top 5 at Canadian radio and ‘Dirt Roads Scholar’ hit number 1 on CMT, becoming the most spun song by a new Canadian country artist in 2009. In 2010, Brody released his second album, ‘Trail In Life’, with three (3) singles and counting. ‘Wildflower’ peaked in the top 20 and ‘Roll That Barrel Out’ went top 5 on the Mediabase country chart and #1 on the Trax Report Canadian country chart. His current single, ‘Trail In Life’ is top 10 and rising on both the CMT and country radio charts. At the 2010 CCMA's Dean was nominated for Male Artist of the Year as well as CMT Video of the Year.
