“With influences ranging from Pantera to Testament, Nevermore to Maiden and blazing guitar leads backed up with thundering drum and bass fills, Crossfire brings back a sort of lost aura to newer thrash and metal bands alike.”

Crossfire, was formed by guitarist Kaya Sevinc in 1999. Spending 3 years to constrain it's original line up and it's sound which has slowly emerged as one of the greatest hopes for Heavy Metal in Turkey. Crossfire’s unique combination of power and thrash metal with the traditional heavy metal approach, cathcy vocal hooks, extraordinary guitar shredding and outstanding riffage quickly helped them to maintain a local fanbase in their hometown, Ankara. The band’s 2002 demo, Decission of Hate was an underground favorite that lead them to hit the road with a massive tour schedule including 2003 Metal Bash Fest in Hamburg, Germany. The band's performance in Germany opened the doors for them to contribute to the tribute album named “The Revivalry - A Tribute To Running Wild” (Remedy Records, 2005) with the song, “Beggars' Night”. The Debut album “Aggression Treaty” was released by Atlantis Music with a magnificent release party on March 2005. And a busy tour schedule followed. Later that year the Besli Brothers had left the band. Remaining members decided to continue their vision for more creative and multi-faceted metal sound with the addition of highy acclaimed guitar player Cem Saydam and drummer Kemal Sozer. The band spent the year 2005 performing at biggest open air festvals of Turkey supporting headliners like Slayer ,Manowar, In Flames, Doro, Over Kill.. In 2006, this time they spent the year performing live in festivals and solo concerts all over Turkey. Crossfire’s outstanding performance at Rock Station Festival’s 9th installment on September 2006 was reviewed by Metalstorm Webzine (www.metalstorm.ee) with these words: “The entire audience was in bliss, headbanging or gazing in rapture at the stage. This was by far the highlight of the entire festival..”

Currently Crossfire’s working on their second album, which will be released early this year, at Raven Studios Ankara.
