The film premiered theatrically in March 2010 in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, and received rave reviews from the New York Times, New York Post, Village Voice, Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Weekly, Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, USA Today, Chicago Reader, and Filmmaker Magazine, among many others.
