    Bio
S.B.E. (“Stack Billions Entertainment”), is the creative brainchild of childhood friends, Brandon Baril (aka “Breeze) and Thomas Skinner (aka SP/So Phenomenal). Brandon and Thomas were born and raised in Queens, met in junior high school, and have been friends and creative running partners since they were in the 5th grade Their interest in music began when they realized that their differing talents complimented and motivated each other; and they decided to combine their skills and talent to form S.B.E.

SP’s forte was geared toward music, thereby learning and becoming a master of the keyboard. He worked hard and perfected his genius on the keyboard, making music that echoed the devout inclination of a hip hop head, yet at the same time, he’s the atypical musician whose musical influence and motivation reflects the mixture of live music with a touch of street beats. Breeze’s producing and refined verbal skills on the mic has shown his diverse, and spontaneous repertoire as a young lyricist. He has grown and matured into someone that manages to combine everyday teen/young adult lifestyle, occurrences, and tribulations with outstanding foresight and clarity, without the use of vulgarity or a condescending mindset. Collectively, they are the pinnacle of the SBE movement that identifies with hundreds of teens, reflecting their popularity, positive vibe, and upbeat rhythms unlike anything that is on the streets and airwaves today.

Together they reflect a positive, upbeat combination of musical style that is reminiscent of the rap genre of the 90’s, yet catchy enough to entertain today’s teens and young adults alike, thereby reminding those who are old skool rap aficionados of the unique, versatile rap style of a modern day Doug E. Fresh, combined with the fun and boy next door finesse and presence of Kid N’ Play.

At the completion of their debut CD, they will showcase their collaboration of their infectious, beat stomping party music that appeals to kids from teens to early twenties. Produced and written by Breeze and SP, the CD will reflect their personal style and creativity unmatched by any artist today. Their single “Hit Me On My Sidekick” is a club hit with a banging groove and nonstop hook that kids will not be able to resist. The concept was derived from the popular electronic devise that kids use to communicate, giving rise to the ever growing popularity of such devises, and coupling of them into their lifestyles; giving us an inside look at this one to one descriptive style and imagination. Their other hot party single,"Go Dum" is the joyful dance music that simply is describe by the title by going dumb and having a good time...which they guys spell it "Go Dum" because they wanted to make it extraordinay playful.

SP’s musical influence is Jay Z, Ja Rule, Kanye West, LL Cool J, and The Fugees. Breeze’s musical influence is Doctor Dre, Eminem, Jay Z, Ludacris, 50 Cent, Timbaland and The Fugees as well.

Their desire began with the notion of promoting and reflecting a positive, united image of rap music; one that concentrates and focuses on creativity and fun. They wanted to break the mold of what has become the ‘traditional’ rapper – one who personifies the thug mentality, provocative music, bling, and material images. They reflect a new generation of rap music that dismisses the repetitive and negative perception of the current state of hip hop. Breeze and SP compliment each other through versatility, ingenuity, and unity.

Breeze describes SP as down to earth, easy going, creative and innovative; SP describes Breeze as someone who is excellent at networking, a skillful producer, and an ideal match for his more laid back style. In essence, they each perfect the other, never seeking to minimize the others desire to promote their idea – their relationship is more reflective of “each one, teach one”

SBE movement caught the attention of legendary DJ Ralph McDaniels of Video Music Box and Hot 97 fame, describing them as “young, energetic individuals making music that promotes a positive image and healthy creativity ……”
