Booty Bassment

The Booty Bassment started as a birthday party almost 5 years ago in San Diego at The Whistle Stop Bar (2236 Fern Street San Diego, Ca. 92104) with Rob Moran (Unbroken, Some Girls), Mario Orduno (Skull Kontrol, Art Fag), and Dimitri Dickinson (WAR GOAT RADIO). We had so much fun doing it that we decided to keep doing it once a month. Now The Booty Bassment is one of the most successful club nights in San Diego and has recently infected Northern California in San Francisco at The Knockout (3223 Mission St. San Francisco, Ca. 94110). The San Diego night is hosted by Ikah Love (Statue, Shake Appeal) and Dimitri Dickinson. The San Francisco night is hosted by Ryan Poulsen (Gun Club, Pancake Radio) and Dimitri Dickinson. Dimitri and Ikah recorded a 30 minute mix in 2004 which remains officially unreleased, and Dimitri and Ryan's Booty Bassment SF 2007 mixtape (which can be downloaded free by clicking ) was produced in a limited run of 100 numbered and hand painted cdrs.
