Black Days Down

Between a vast array of guitar licks, bass lines made of pure testosterone, hard hitting drums, and vocal lines/melodies bordering on brilliance, it’s fairly safe to say that Black Days Down, a quickly up and coming hard rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, will soon be a force to reckon with. The band started out with guitarist Andy Reyerson’s driving to create something original in an already flurishing hard rock in industry. After a few previous tries with some less-than-perfect members, vocalist Brad Whelan’s demo tracks were heard. The two instantly spotted potential within their abilities to create art that the masses could enjoy. Not long after, Drummer Mike Krumm joined the equation when percussion was needed for one of the bands demo recording sessions. A few months had passed, more and more tracks were finished and after a long search for a bass player, Kyle Glidden magically appeared, supplying the low end and business savy mind the band needed.

The guys are hoping to turn people onto riff-based hard rock again in an age lacking substance and arrangement. The band is currently very young in their existence, but is creating quite a stir.

With a Midwest spring break tour being booked as we speak, and a host of shows in the greater Twin Cities area, the band is coming up faster than they could’ve imagined, and are very anxious to hit the road. Currently in the writing/recording stage, they are definitely breaking a few trends in today’s scene. With every song getting better and better, this band is only going to be getting bigger. Be sure to keep your eyes out for an album in the near future that you can’t help but bang your head to.
