Ben Benkert

Playing guitar since the age of 6, this amazingly talented young man has blossomed into an industry level performer/singer-song writer. With over 30 original songs and a multi-dimensional approach to music and style, Ben has opened up an infinite amount of musical talent that is truly magnetic to others. His life experiences coupled with the tragic death of his older brother on August 27, 2002, has changed his life dramatically and has inspired many of his songs. He uses his lyrics, voice and guitar as his platform to open his heart and heal his soul.

Once you see this young man perform and hear his upcoming releases, you’ll realize you are witnessing something remarkable. Now that Ben has had his music played on the radio, has had numerous articles written about him in the Bay Area local news media, and has been picked up by Indie Label executives from Meritage Records, the word is out and his career is now in development to conquer a national and international audience. While currently dazzling audiences in the Bay Area, Meritage Records has put Ben back in the studio, with producers/Engineers Diego Cisternas & Omar Lewis, and release his first EP which will be followed by a full length CD. A Music Video will also produced by Director Rod Reed. The Release Experience begins Aug.15,2008 throughout the bay area.
