Western New York Singer-Songwriter Alan "ADub" Whitney's guitars twang, rock and slap back echoes over muscular grooves that carry his soulful voice. He writes songs about colorful characters who steal Cadillacs. ADub has been compared to genre bending artists Lyle Lovett, Tom Waits, and even Elvis blending his own sharp sense of song with rhythm charged American Roots music and Rock and Roll charisma. Along with 7-string guitar genius Timmy P. and The Healing Committee Band, ADub's fans become part of the show, conjuring the spontaneous, dancing, singing along, silliness, romping and hanging on every word.

Alan "ADub" Whitney has performed well known venues and festivals in the U.S. and Europe, sharing bills with such luminary artists as Alison Krauss, Brian Setzer, Wanda Jackson, Dave Alvin, Lucinda Williams and Ramblin’ Jack Elliot. His songs have been recorded by major label artists, and featured in films, radio and television. For many years he worked as a touring artist, staff writer, session musician, and music industry tradesman in Los Angeles and Nashville with some of the biggest names in music.

After many hectic years on the road and a rapidly changing record industry, Whitney was ready to settle down. He decided to put down roots and start a family in Buffalo, New York. Today "ADub" (as he is known by many of his fans) and his band perform concerts, festivals, club dates and events across his home Western New York region….
