BLKSPIDA, was born in March to Beverly Wade in Jackson Mississippi, and raised in the small town of Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He is one of 4 siblings. He gained his love of music at an early age and was influenced by the sounds his mother played on the home radio such as James Brown, Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Prince, and Sam Cooke. (Just naming a few) Throughout High School Blkspida won numerous Talent shows and carried his talents with him when he joined the Army in 2000. In 2004 (in Iraq) he was founded by P-Nyce (CEO of So Heated Records). While in Iraq Blkspida and So Heated Records were featured in the Raw Report Vol 4 with Young Jezzy and also Smack DVD. Also in Iraq they recorded 3 CD'S, sold over 10,000 copies, and gained attention all over the United States. In 2005 Blkspida and So Heated Records returned from Iraq to Colorado Springs, Colorado and continued to grind........ In 2006 Blkspida moved to Killeen, Texas and formed "Get Money Entertainment" 2006 was a year to remember for Blkspida. His 1st solo album "The Best Kept Secret" sold over 8,000 copies out the trunk from Colorado to Texas to Mississippi. Blkspida/Get Money Ent/So Heated Records opened for major Artist such as: Pall Wall, Camillionaire, Tyrese, TI, Yung Joc, also Bad Boy South. Also Blkspida has done over 150 shows for the following cities: Killeen, Waco, Austin, Arlington, Dallas Texas, Colorado Springs, Fountain Colorado, all the way back to his home town (Crystal Springs Mississippi) Blkspida next album "Still I Rise" drops late March early April 2007 and is sure to live up to its title. Blkspida sound and style is like no other. By him being from a place that does not get any attention, he has more passion, more hunger in his voice. Blkspida is a man of many talents.
