Alabaster is female-fronted rock. Shane Killian’s vocal ability is matched only by Kate Orlowski’s blazing sincerity. Joe Bosslet & Kate’s guitar parts weave in and out of one another... teetering on the edge of oblivion. They are supported by a rock solid rhythm section consisting of Jen Miller (bass) and KII (drums).
Alabaster calls Seattle home, but half of the band originally hails from Chicago. They relocated to the Northwest in 2005 and have been working their asses off ever since. The work has paid off through landing a spot on the Hot Topic/Kevin Says stage at Warped Tour. These triumphs have been met with a fair amount of struggle, but the band continues on.
With an EP out testing the waters, the band is poised to strike. They closed 2006 with a 21 date tour that took them to their Chicago homeland, out to New York and back to Seattle. They are currently booking regional weekend trips as well as a week of shows around the west coast for March of 2007.
