I've been lucky enough to make it to all but one of Lance's shows in Fall of 2006. Lance and the Posse deliver an exciting show filled with laughter, love and fun. If you get the chance, don't miss it.

    Bio
Country music fans have a new addiction -- a voice as rich as fine Kentucky bourbon and a message as sincere as a grandmother’s wisdom.

Introducing, Lance Combs, a Mid-western country boy born on a horse ranch in Stanberry, Mo. Combs grew up listening to Country music legends like Waylon Jennings, George Strait and Merle Haggard. He traveled to horse shows, rodeos and ranches across Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska with his father who raised champion cutting horses. Combs was influenced by stories of his fiddle-playing grandfather, who entertained on the radio before the days of television, and the no nonsense cowboys he encountered as a young man.

It’s easy to see how Lance’s destiny was set early in life. Now, he’s one of Nashville’s most talked about up-and-coming Country artists. While this former riverboat gambler and contractor’s path hasn’t always been straight and narrow, it has given him the life experiences necessary to connect with fans, who find his charm and charisma irresistible.

Combs’ album, “Soundtrack of Life,” combines the memories of his childhood with today’s Country rock -- music described as incredibly real and personal. His fans find forgiveness, hope and playfulness in his songs, which illustrate the twists and turns of life. According to Combs, “Singing isn’t just about entertaining; it’s about connecting with fans. I hope my music leaves a lasting impression that makes people feel good about life.” It’s not surprising that fans can’t get enough of Lance Combs. He knows what it means to touch the lives of others, fall in love, feel alone and drive like hell down a country road. He sings about the personal inner struggles we face and thoughts and feelings that everyone has, but few have the courage to say. Combs’ independently released CD, “Soundtrack of Life,” is co-produced with Mark Lambert, a Grammy-Award Winning engineer of The Horse Whisperer, and Grammy-Nominated producer for Ronnie Milsap. Lambert works with artists such as Ronnie Milsap, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris, Jamey Johnson, Billy Gilman, Leon Russell and a host of others. Combs also notes celebrity voice coach Rene Grant-Williams as one of the major influencers on his career. Grant-Williams works closely with stars such as Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Bo Bice, Christina Aguilara and Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead.

The “Soundtrack of Life” will be released in Fall of 2006. Go to www.lancecombs.com, for more information.
