FLATLINE December 2006- The Los Angeles band, featured in the May 2006 issue of Revolver Magazine, has already powered its way into LA's metal scene with appearances at the famed Whisky, The Troubadour and every major club in between. The metal masters amped up summer '06 with the US multi-city "Malicious Intent" tour, and then to Auckland, to play the "666 - Metal Day Out" festival and to tour New Zealand's entire northern island. Flatline showcased their brutal live stage performance and original songs from their albums "Bred on Deception" and "Massive Aggressive".

Sponsored by Floyd Rose, Coffin Case, Evil Threads, Monster Energy and Ice Pix, Flatline are also making their mark in the world of metal with the help of the Internet. In mere months the band's Myspace page has racked up over 100,000 hits and over 11,000 fan comments combined. LA's Rock City News took notice and awarded the band "Outstanding New Band" at their 11th annual awards show. Flatline was also identified as one of the best independent artists in the country, by the renowned Independent Artists Registry, being one of 34 bands out of 4,000 chosen for a 2006 sponsorship.

Flatline features five unique musical talents linked by a single passion--unadulterated thrash metal. Band members include lead vocalist Travis Johnson, a Los Angeles native, hails from a world of pain, strength and determination. Johnson's hauntingly personal lyrics and powerful delivery give Flatline an unrivaled edge. Pittsburgh PA guitarist Randy Weitzel careens effortlessly from speed thrash metal to elaborate acoustic arrangements. Weitzel, brings not only his songwriting and guitar talents, but a drive destined to carry Flatline far. Guitarist Joe 'Paulo' Guerra hails from Los Angeles CA. Although his metal tendencies are deeply rooted, Guerra has influences in a variety of musical genres. Bassist Brad Hollis, originally from Inland Empire CA, adds an inspired style and insane stage presence to the rhythm section. Drummer Tim Hassemer, an Espanola, New Mexico native, puts a dynamic and distinct musical voice at the core of Flatline' music.
