I'm looking forward to see Taylor's concert in Indonesia. He was here last year, performed in Asian Idol. But of course, it wasn't enough!! I'm expecting an intimate concert. Hopefully he's doing well with his album, stay true to his music, his heart and soul. it doesnt' matter if he's no longer in a major label. I believe his two first albums are better than the third one.

Cant wait till Taylor tours again. He is amazing live. I sure hope it is in the same type of venues, small and up close. Makes ya want to get up and dance with him.

Taylor is the best!! I met him last year at the Grove in Anaheim which was a great concert, but even better was his performance at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip. His fans are the best. They are devoted and will definitely make sure that he sticks around for a long, long time. I still have the Whomp at the Warfield concert on my DVR since last October. I bet I've watched it over a dozen times. I would have been at that concert, but unfortunately I was out of town. He is a must see in concert. I'm looking forward to the 2008 tour and the next CD. If you don't have the "In Your Time", and "Under the Radar" CDS, get them soon. I love all three of his CD's but these two are so great. TAYLOR RULES!!!

Taylor puts on a show that is so high energy, you don't want a seat - you need to be on your feet moving and grooving. His band is awesome and full of musicians who are a show in themselves. He performs such a soulful sound and a live performance is a must see. He is an extremely smart musician. He studies it, he breathes it, he performs it, he embraces it, he respects it. Taylor is a ray of sunshine to the music world and you will walk away knowing that "real" music is back and he's not going anywhere; he's going to be around for a long time. You come for a show and you get something the entire time; he gives back to the crowd 200% of himself and all his talent. He comes alive on the stage and it is apparent that it is 2nd nature to him. Taylor's band members are so insync and incredible to watch the interaction as they come together for a real performance; I guarantee you will never have this experience again until you see another one of his shows!

I went from England to Alabama to see three of Taylor's concerts. All three concerts (3 in a Row) were AMAZING!! Each one different, different set list each night and the performance by Taylor and his wonderful band was just unbelieveable!!

    Bio
With his raspy, soulful voice and salt-and-pepper hair, Taylor Hicks was one of the unlikeliest contestants to make it to the final round of American Idol, but his quirky charm and rousing delivery of songs like "Takin' It to the Streets" won Hicks a devoted legion of fans called the Soul Patrol and the title of the fifth-season American Idol. Born in Birmingham, AL, and raised in Hoover, Hicks grew up listening to classic soul artists such as Otis Redding and Sam Cooke -- which he said he could to relate to even as a child due to the divorce of his parents and other troubles -- and singer/songwriters like Van Morrison, Bob Seger, and Billy Joel. His chief influence, however, was Ray Charles, whom he admired so much that he carried a little statue of Charles with him whenever he performed. Though Hicks had no formal musical training, he picked up singing, guitar, and harmonica on his own. He began performing for his family at an early age and won a talent contest at his high school (at which time his hair started turning gray). While studying business, communication, and marketing at Auburn University, Hicks formed the Passing Through band, and left school early to try his luck in Nashville. As a touring performer, he opened for artists ranging from James Brown to Drive-By Truckers and also performed at the Playboy Mansion. Hicks released two albums with his band: In Your Time, a live album, and Under the Radar. In 2005, he auditioned for American Idol; the Memphis tryouts were so crowded that Hicks couldn't get in, so he went to the Las Vegas auditions. Despite the doubts of judge Simon Cowell, Hicks' differences from the typical pop star look and sound worked for him rather than against him in the competition, and his performances of "Levon," "Living for the City," and "Dancing in the Dark" helped put him over the top. After winning American Idol, Hicks signed a record deal with Clive Davis and 19 Recordings Unlimited, and released the single Do I Make You Proud that summer. Hicks also performed with the American Idol tour and began work on his major-label debut album. His self-titled debut arrived in late 2006.
