Bio
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and currently sharing residences between New York and Los Angeles, thirty year-old Constantine Maroulis made it to the Top 6 on Fox's "American Idol: Season 4" bringing national attention to both himself, as well as his former New York based rock band, Pray For The Soul Of Betty. The multi-talented Maroulis is both an accomplished actor and singer, and is currently pursuing his dreams of doing each. Maroulis trained at the Boston Conservatory, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2002, with a Minor in Voice Performance from Berklee College of Music in 2002. He trained as an apprentice at The Williamstown Theatre Festival in 2002, toured in the Broadway International Touring Company of RENT as the lead role Roger, among countless other Broadway performance roles to his credit. He has also appeared in Law & Order: SVU, as well as several independent films. He developed his love of the arts at an early age and has a wide range of musical and acting influences, from the more modern music of bands and artists like The Killers, The Bravery, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance, Ringside, Norah Jones, and Jeff Buckley, to such classic and timeless singers as Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, and Frank Sinatra. Maroulis cites his favorite actors as Marlon Brando, Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Jon Turturro, and Jillian Armenante. Watch for Constantine Maroulis coming to both a stage and a screen near you soon!
