805 South (8-oh-5 South) is a Los Angeles based band. Band founders are Candy from Nashville, and Lisa Shea from Memphis. 805 South is a fusion of original Memphis Rhythm and Blues, Nashville songwriting, southern rock guitar, groove pumping drums and smooth bluesy bass lines. If “Black Crowes”, “Etta James”, and “Cream” had a baby than 805 South would be that love child. They have been called by fans “Stevie Ray Vaughan” with chicks and female “Jimi Hendrix”.

Lisa Shea: lead vocal/rhythm guitar/songwriter/music composer
805 South has performed live at The Joint, B.B. Kings Club - Universal City Walk, The Airliner, The Cat Club, Studio Suite, Universal Bar and Grill, The Derby, On the Rox, House of Blues, and The Mint to name a few.
805 South songs are available for film/TV. Their influences are blues and rock artists such as Black Crowes, Ben Harper and Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, and Bonnie Raitt. 805 South “Pay To Play” full length CD released in 2009.
