Grand Canyon Hike

Hi Everyone, Please only RSVP to this meetup if you have already booked your room at the South Rim for the nights of 10/9 and 10/10. But there are a few lodges there. If all the lodges are full, but you are interested in sharing a room, leave a post here. If people with rooms already, are also willing to share, perhaps something can be worked out. Details Schedule: Depart around 10:00 AM Friday (10/9). Spend the night on the South Rim. Start hike Saturday morning. Spend the night, group diner. Depart South Rim Sunday morning. Transportation: TBD Park Fees: Entrance fee for the Grand Canyon is $25 per car. The Hike: The hike will be about 16 miles total. Travel down South Kaibab to Phantom Ranch, rest and eat lunch. Hike back up through Bright Angel trail.
