Left side, 4500 block MD 177, 4590 Mountain Rd, at Bodkin Rd. Phone 410-360-7143. Follow MD 100 East until it ends at MD 177 (Mountain Road). MD 100 East can be reached easily from the north or south via I-95, US 1, the BW Parkway (MD 295), or MD 2. Proceed on MD 177 1.4 miles to the Restaurant, on the left, at the intersection with Bodkin Road. Event Description: The Restaurant is open from 8am-8pm, Tue-Sun. The park is open from 9am-dusk every day except Tuesday, when the main and pedestrian gates are closed. Both walk trails (A&B, one event stamp) are rated 1+. Walk during daylight hours only. Downs Park has 231 acres of beautiful parkland facing the Chesapeake Bay, with paved and natural surface paths. Trail A starts outside of the park and goes through neighborhoods around the park, mainly on road shoulders, before entering the park via a pedestrian gate. Trail A finishes by walking along Mountain Road. Trail B starts at the ECO Trail, just inside the park, which requires driving from the start point. Except for a short section, Trail B is inside the park. The park has a $5.00 per vehicle daily entrance fee which must be paid or a Park Vehicle Pass, if you choose Trail option B. There are no sidewalks outside the park so this event is not recommended for wheelchairs. The use of strollers will require additional care. Pets are not allowed in the start point. Pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after inside Downs Park.
