The concept of SIBEC North America was created by McLean Events in 1996 through a series of highly focused industry forums for senior executives and leading suppliers from specific markets, wishing to talk business in a more focused fashion. Meeting in 5-star facilities away from the distractions of trade shows and conferences, make these forums uniquely different and today are regarded as the premier industry events within their respective markets. SIBEC North America is a one-on-one meeting forum between Owners, Operators, CEOs & COOs of health, recreation, sports & fitness organizations and leading executives from national and international supplier companies from the following categories Apparel, Architects, Balance Training Equipment, Club Management Software, Consultancy, Education & Certification, Finance Software, Fitness Equipment & Programming, Flooring, Free Weights, Health & Wellness, Insurance, Lockers, Locker Room Amenities, Marketing Services, Membership Services, Nutrition, Pools, Programming, Spas, Saunas, Towels, Youth Equipment and many others. SIBEC 2009 will bring together over 60 of Americas leading club operators and owners to meet with 60 key domestic and international suppliers to participate in a series of one-on-one meetings over two dedicated business days. Both buyers and suppliers get to choose who they would like to meet with and are each given a schedule of meetings. Each meeting is 20 minutes in length and takes place at the buyer meeting tables.
